Western fiction?
[edit]There is a link to "Western film." Shouldn't there also be a link to "Western fiction"? See: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Western_fiction 134.124.25.250 (talk) 18:36, 4 December 2023 (UTC)
legends of the Old West
[edit]In perusing various articles related to persons and events of the Old West over a few hours, I have observed and tagged examples of lengthy passages that are wholly unsupported by any sources. I don't know where this stuff comes from. I hope we are not perpetuating an unencyclopedic, romanticized and mythologized version of Old West folklore, and I encourage editors to closer scrutinize the content. Butch Cassidy's Wild Bunch might be a good launching point to follow wikilinks and examine the myriad persons and events, many of which appear dubious. soibangla (talk) 06:47, 27 January 2024 (UTC)
